Primary Objective:

Provide quality information systems, services and support to MTS personnel in a timely and efficient manner.

Major Areas of Accountability:

* Works to develop concepts and designs that meet or exceed the cost and performance goals when developing new systems. Also, develops concepts and designs for support of existing systems.

* Works to estimate schedule and budget on assigned projects and tasks.

* Creates the required design specifications to allow customers and other personnel to accurately review the proposed solution, and creates designs which optimize personnel and technical resources.

* Implements designs in a manner consistent with appropriate standards and guidelines.

* Thoroughly tests and debugs programs, applications, and systems, working with other personnel to complete implementation within appropriate life cycle requirements.

* Identifies and solves problems efficiently, creatively, and effectively, staying organized and clear headed throughout troubleshooting process. Effectively uses diagnostic tools to provide insight into the problem.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

* Must be a US Citizen, US Asylee or Green Card Holder.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent work experience, being either

* a HS Diploma or GED and 8 years of relevant work experience OR

* an AA degree or 2 year program and 4 years of relevant work experience.

* 5+ years overall SAP ABAP development experience.

* Demonstrates broad ABAP development knowledge.

* Demonstrated ability to create standards based well-structured and reusable code.

* Demonstrated planning and coordination skills with development initiatives.

* Strong relationship, interpersonal, communication skills and willingness to share technical knowledge with other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Expertise in SAP Object Oriented ABAP and Classic ABAP development.

* Expertise in Report and Transaction Creation.

* Expertise in the development of conversion programs (BDC, LSMW).

* Proficient in SAP Form Development (SAPScripts, SmartForms and Adobe Forms).

* Proficient understanding of the SAP Enhancement Framework (BADI, User Exits, Function Exits, Enhancement Points and Enhancement Routines).

* Proficient in Interface/proxy programming.

* Proficient in BAPI/RFC Interface development.

* Experience in ABAP-HR development support and enhancement work strongly preferred.

* Experience in CRM 7.0 development (Web UI, GenIL/BOL, Transaction Launcher) strongly preferred.

* Experience in SAP Business Workflow strongly preferred.

* Experience in WebDynpro development strongly preferred.

* Experience in HANA Core Data Services development strongly preferred.

* Experience with SAP NetWeaver JAVA IPC development strongly preferred.

* Experience in SAP integration using Web Services / Web APIs strongly preferred.

* Experience in SAPUI5/FIORI development strongly preferred.

* Experience with mobile solutions strongly preferred.
