The link below will take you to a survey that is part of a process being conducted by the Minnesota AIDS Project (MAP). HIV has affected the African American male community at a disproportionate rate and MAP is committed to increasing the HIV testing rate for this community. To that end, we’re disseminating a survey to gain a better understanding of perspectives and perceptions among black gay, bisexual and same-gender loving men around HIV testing, the barriers that might prevent them from getting tested, and the most effective way to reach them with our message.

If you are a black gay, bisexual or same-gender loving man we hope that you will take 15 minutes to complete the confidential survey and share it with your networks. If not, we ask that you please consider sharing with any colleagues, friends or loved ones who may be willing to participate. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa gift card.

The survey will be available through January 7th. Here is the link to the survey:

We will also be conducting focus groups with the same population on January 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th. Participants will be paid a $20 stipend and provided with a light meal. Please contact Karen DeYoung at 952-920-1499 or for more information.

Thank you for your willingness to participate.
